De Halve Maan

De Halve Maan is without a doubt, one of the most popular places to go in Belgium to enjoy a brewery tour. De Halve Maan is located in Brugge and it’s the oldest-running brewery (since 1856) in the city, which makes a visit to De Halve Maan even more special.

Grote Markt

Antwerp’s Grote Markt is another beautiful square that we have to include on our list of the places to go in Belgium. Grote Markt is surrounded by many beautiful 16th century gilded houses which you can photograph, as well as interesting landmarks such as the famous statue of "Brabo and the giant’s hand".

Besides taking the views from Grote Markt, you’ll be able to book bus tours and horse-drawn carriage rides of the area around Grote Markt and visit places such as Het Steen (Antwerp Fortress) where you’ll find the statue of the giant defeated by Brabo (pictured).

Belfry Tower

The Belfry Tower in Brugge is without a doubt, one of the most popular places to go in Belgium as the tower was featured in the 2008 movie “In Bruges”. The Belfry Tower is also one of the best places in Brugge to enjoy fantastic views of the city’s medieval skyline.


The Belfry Tower also boasts a bell room at the very top of the tower which you’re allowed to climb to see the Carillon concert which happens every day near midday.
