Downtown Chicago Attractions
Planning a trip to Chicago Illinois this year?
Here it is a list of my favourite downtown Chicago Attractions:
* The Shedd Aquarium, which offers a display of marine life exhibits.
* John Hancock Observatory where you can get panoramic view of Chicago's skyline.
Guided Chicago River Cruise where you can view over 40 landmarks of modern American architecture.
* The Field Museum of Natural History, located at Museum Campus. It features the world's largest and best-preserved T-Rex.
* Chicago Millennium Park, located on Michigan Avenue is a 24 acre park which features world-class art, music and architecture. You can also enjoy interactive exhibits as well as outdoor ice skating.
* Bus Sightseeing tours are another great way to experience downtown Chicago attractions on the top of a double decker tour.
* Visit Chicago Theater District which is located near the intersection of Randolph & Dearborn Streets within downtown Chicago attractions.
* The Wrigley clock tower where you can see the well-known giant two-story clocks.
When to visit Chicago
The ideal time to experience downtown Chicago attractions is summer time(June-August), as autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May) seasons tend to be unpredictable with sun one minute and rain the next.
Having said this, if you are planning mainly indoor activities such as visiting museums then, there isn’t a bad time to visit Chicago Illinois. In fact, it can be a bonus visiting downtown Chicago attractions during the winter and autumn seasons as you can find cheap Chicago hotels and less crowds.
