-Saxon Brewery Museum: is located in Rechenberg (near the border with Czech Republic), and it’s one of the oldest beer breweries in Germany.
Saxon brewery offers a 2-hour tour of the Saxon Brewery’s underground vaults and beer tasting twice a day (12pm and 3pm).
-Erdinger Brewery: is located in the town of Erding, which is around 30 minutes drive from Munich. If you’re a fan of wheat beer, Erdinger is one of the best wheat beer producing breweries in Germany.
Erdinger offers a 3-hour tour three times a day (10am, 2pm and 6pm) where you’ll get to learn about their beer making techniques and sample fine brews.
-Weihenstephan Abbey Brewery
Weihenstephan Abbey is the oldest brewery in Germany, and one of the most popular breweries in the region of Bavaria.
The beauty of this brewery is the visitor’s center where you can see an interesting short video on the life of the monks and how beer has been brewed there for hundreds of years.
Weihenstephan Abbey offers a brewery tour every hour between 11am and 4pm.
-Andechs Abbey Brewery: is located in Andechs (nearby Munich) and it’s without a doubt, one of the most popular places in Germany for enjoying beer tastings.
The brewery is run by the Benedictine monks which offer tours of the church twice a day (12pm and 12.15pm), as well as the monastery brewery at 10:30am every Tuesday and Wednesday (the brewery tour cost around $6 and last 60 minutes).
-Beck's Brewery: is located in Bremen and it’s another great German brewery where you can learn a lot about the art of beer brewing and taste different types of beers. The brewery tour lasts 2-hours and cost $15 (11 Euros).
